This Privacy Policy aims to inform you how JCB Rent processes your data and your rights as a data subject.

Types of Personal Data, Purposes, and Legal Basis for Processing:
This policy covers JCB Rent’s online and offline data collection activities, including data collected through various channels such as brand websites, agencies, and events/exhibitions in which JCB Rent participates.
JCB Rent collects and processes your data for a set of purposes:
Vehicle reservation or rental: There is a set of data that must necessarily be collected for JCB Rent to organize and provide the requested service (including sending the reservation confirmation), as well as to manage any complaints related to vehicle reservation or rental, such as name, date of birth, identification document data, address, mobile phone number or telephone, email address. The basis for collecting this data is the management of the contractual relationship and the legitimate interest of JCB Rent.
Management and administration: Data collected for JCB Rent to fulfill its accounting/tax and legal and administrative obligations typically include your name, address, and Tax Identification Number. The basis for processing this data is the fulfillment of a legal obligation and JCB Rent’s legitimate interest in managing the customer relationship.
Commercial and promotional communications: JCB Rent collects data such as name, telephone number or mobile phone, and email address, in order to provide you with information about services that may be of interest to you (for example, marketing communications or campaigns and promotions), collecting your consent when necessary. At any time, you may object to the processing of your data for these purposes, as stipulated in the paragraph below “Exercise of Your Rights.” The basis for processing this data is JCB Rent’s legitimate interest or, when requested, your consent.
Loyalty Program Management and Customer Card: So that the customer can be rewarded for the preference shown in renting their vehicles, through a unique set of offers, discounts, and other benefits in the JCB Rent network, JCB Rent allows you to join the Loyalty program by subscribing to the customer card. Your identification and contact data, such as name, date of birth, email address, telephone, Tax Identification Number (optional), and rental history will be used for the purposes of managing and improving the Loyalty program, managing the respective card, namely to send you statements and information related to the status of your card and for the efficient management of the program’s benefits and advantages, for the calculation and allocation of benefits and discounts, based on your consent and JCB Rent’s legitimate interest. With your consent, we may present you with campaigns, advantages, and promotions of the program and information about new products and services from JCB Rent. Your profile will be created and processed, taking into account the type and frequency of use of your customer card to offer you personalized services and promotions, based on our legitimate interest.
CCTV: Regarding the closed-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance system, implemented in some facilities and duly marked, your image may be captured by the aforementioned cameras. The purpose of said CCTV cameras is to ensure the safety of people and property, and this image capture is carried out based on JCB Rent’s legitimate interest, in the exercise of functions of public interest, or for compliance with legal obligations.
Disclosure of Personal Data:
In the context of vehicle rental, JCB Rent may disclose your data:
To service providers (such as vehicle rental operators), so that they can use them for the purpose of correctly providing each requested service (in this case, the data will only be used for that specific purpose) and to comply with the legislation of the destination countries;
To government authorities (e.g., immigration, border control, public security, and counter-terrorism entities).
In the context of merger, acquisition, and/or incorporation processes in which it is involved, when such transfer is necessary within the legitimate interests of JCB Rent or third parties to whom the data is communicated. The processing of your personal data may also be carried out by service providers, acting on behalf of JCB Rent, namely accounting management services, auditors, and lawyers, external entities that provide us with technological services, such as computer platform providers, hosting services, maintenance, and assistance of our databases.
International Data Transfers:
Depending on the destination you travel to, JCB Rent may need to transfer your data to service providers, within or outside the European Union (provided that such transfer is essential for the execution/provision of the service).
Any transfer of personal data to a third country will only be carried out in the context of legal obligations or if compliance with applicable community and national legal standards in this regard is ensured.
Data of Minors:
The data of minors are collected and processed with the consent of parents or a legal guardian. Regarding these data, parents or the legal guardian may exercise the rights granted by the GDPR to data subjects.
Retention Period of Personal Data:
Your data is kept by JCB Rent for the period strictly necessary to meet the aforementioned purposes, except when there are retention obligations imposed by applicable law, or legitimate interest, which require the maintenance of your personal data for a longer period.
Your personal data collected for the purpose of managing the customer card will be kept during the validity period of the card and as long as you remain loyal to the program.
Personal Data Security Measures:
JCB Rent uses appropriate security measures to protect your data, including technical and organizational measures to protect them against abusive or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, damage, or destruction.
The data is processed by JCB Rent employees or authorized service providers, accessing only the data strictly necessary, depending on the specific purposes for which the data was collected.

As a data subject, you may exercise the following rights, within the legally established limits:
Access to personal data [Upon submitting a request for access, you will be provided with access to and details about the personal data processed by JCB Rent.]
Rectification of personal data [If your personal data is incomplete or incorrect, you may request correction of the same.]
Right to be forgotten [By exercising your right to be forgotten, JCB Rent will, if applicable, delete your personal data.]

Revocation of consent for processing [If you revoke your consent, JCB Rent will remove your consent from the specified activity.]
